Annual Baltimore Green Week, Request for Proposals
Baltimore Green Week (BGWeek), is BGW’s annual capstone program series. Each April, BGW hosts this weeklong series of educational workshops, lectures and tours offering the public an opportunity to voice their concerns, communicate with eco-minded leaders, and take action on issues such as climate change, sustainable food and agriculture, water conservation, and efficiency within the home. BGWeek kicks off with the EcoFest, an outdoor festival with music, yoga classes, bike rides and over 100 vendors and exhibitors who are local and share our mission for promoting sustainability and the environment.
In an effort to make this city-wide event more inclusive of Baltimore’s sustainability community, we are formally reaching out to those in the Baltimore region who share our mission and are looking to offer opportunities to the public that promote and educate on the various themes of sustainability. BGWeek is the time for our network to convene around this common cause.
If your organization is interested in participating in the Annual Baltimore Green Week series, please apply by December 15th and send all questions to bgw@baltimoregreenworks.com
