The Neighborhood Design Center
NDC offers services that focus on the adaptive reuse of existing buildings, seeking to promote healthy urban parks and open spaces, reclaim vacant land, create vital, pedestrian-friendly streetscapes, and generally support Baltimore city and Prince George’s county communities and neighborhoods, NDC can easily be described as one of the oldest proponents of green design in the region, if not the country.

The Enviro Center
We are a green executive office building that is 50% more efficient in energy use and 32% more efficient in water use than a typical office building. 100% of our electricity and 100% of our heating fuel are from renewable sources. We use 100% captured rainwater for irrigation of our extensive landscaping. Office space is available.

We practice architecture that goes beyond standard green construction to reach net zero and regenerative buildings. Green Building Institute
The Green Building is housed in a green building called the Environmental Design & resource Center where we and the other tenants in the building work together to promote sustainability. Our mission as the Green Building Institute is to foster sustainable building practices through education and example. For five years, we’ve taught informative classes on Geothermal Energy, Passive Solar Design,Rainwater Conservation and more. Currently, we are holding a breakfast series where participants will earn two AIA Continuing Education Credits.
