Baltimore Commission on Sustainability Meeting: New Baltimore Trash & Litter Strategies… How are they working?

Please join us on November 18th from 6-8 pm at Mondawmin Mall for a “Community Conversation with the Sustainability Commission about City government and community strategies to make Baltimore cleaner.

Baltimore has a trash and litter problem. The Baltimore Commission on Sustainability has been researching what has worked here, and in other places, to make cities cleaner. We are also reaching out to Baltimore communities to learn what neighborhood residents are doing to reduce trash on their streets and alleys. Baltimore’s Department of Public Works is testing several ways to get trash and litter off of the streets including distribution of municipal trash cans.

The meeting will be held in the Mondawmin Mall Community Room, which is located nest to the Mall Management office at 2401 Liberty Heights Avenue. Enter through the mall entrance next to Target, proceed on the left side past Payless, and turn left at RK Jewelers. Signs will direct you to the Community Room.
