baltimoregreenworks.com

TreeBaltimore, part of Mayor Dixon’s Greener Baltimore initiative, is launching anew program this fall called TreeNeighborhood.  It will provide free trees to designated Healthy Neighborhoods and 1/2 price trees ($10- WHAT A PRICE!) to all other city residents.

Be a part of TreeNeighborhood by:

1. Choosing a representative from your neighborhood to do the ordering.

2. Publicize the TreeNeighborhood program to neighborhood residence, schools, businesses and hospitals to raise interest and involvement.

3. Collect orders from these neighborhood residence and businesses to be submitted to TreeBaltimore by September 15, 2009.  *Note: TreeNeighborhood orders must include at least 10 trees and be submitted with full payment.

4.  Plant!  Have a planting party when your trees arrive in October.  TreeBaltimore will deliver all trees to a central location within the neighborhood.

If you have questions or want to know more about the TreeNeighborhood program, please contact Anne Draddy, TreeBaltimore Coordinator at anne.draddy@baltimorecity.gov or 443.984.4058.
