City Parks Alliance Seeks Applicants for “Featured Parks” Section on Website
Starting in September 2010, the City Parks Alliance website (www.cityparksalliance.org) will feature two outstanding parks on our homepage each quarter, and we’d like to invite CPA member organizations to submit their parks for consideration!  We’re looking for a breadth of park models to showcase nationally; no park is too big or too small.

To apply, just send an email and attachments with the following:

Required Information for Application

1.      Name of park

2.      City and State

3.      Contact name and email

4.      Provide a 200 – 300 word description of your park and 75 words on why your park should be featured.   Your park may be new, it may be old, or it may have once been something else!  Your park may be a  great success story because of local youth stewardship; it may have an innovative partnership; or it may just be a place that your community treasures for a special reason.

5.      Provide 2 color photographs [jpeg files preferred]

6.      Deadline:  Friday, August 27

7.      Send to info@cityparksalliance.org
If your park is selected, you will be notified by e-mail within a week after the deadline date. Applicants must be current members of City Parks Alliance.
